Hey Michael, from one Substack writer to another, how did you make this table of contents post pinned to the top of your substack? I love the way you format so well. Thanks for any advice.
Michael - I was considering upgrading to paid but I wanted to ask first about - I am a US based investor - having access to purchasing the companies you identify thru my US based brokerages. I have accounts at Wells Fargo (they pitch about everything not on NASDAQ or NYSE 😁) and Scwhab and IBKR. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
IBKR offers access to Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan (Main Board), Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. I promise 20 deep dives per year on stocks in these markets.
If you want to invest in Southeast Asia, I recommend Phillip Securities in Singapore or Boom Securities in Hong Kong. Their platforms offer access to most markets around Asia, including South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Do you ever wonder about the social impact of investing in Asian stocks? China has an immoral social credit system, human rights issues, and an authoritarian surveillance system, for instance.
