June 2022 portfolio review, corp gov screen, Nintendo, Jay Newman, Calafia Beach Pundit
I enjoyed sovereign debt investor Jay Newman’s discussion on the Odd Lots podcast. Emerging market debt levels have increased significantly over the past decade. Rising US interest rates and high commodity prices pressure government budgets and current account balances.
I also think that Calafia Beach Pundit’s commentary on US M2 growth is worth reading. He’s predicting that inflationary pressure will recede by early 2023.
Also, don’t miss the June 2022 update of my personal portfolio - how it fared in June and how I’ve positioned it for the future.
